Dr. Pugmire joined San Diego Imaging Medical Group in 2021. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, with a certificate of added qualification in Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Pugmire received his Bachelor of Science degree and Medical Doctorate degree from the University of California, San Diego.  He then completed a Transitional Year Internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital before moving to Boston where he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. While at MGH he also served as a Chief Resident. Following his residency he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Fellow. After finishing his training and prior to joining SDI, Dr. Pugmire was a partner with Wishon Radiology in the Fresno area and was on staff at Valley Children’s Hospital.
