Dr. Smith joined San Diego Imaging Medical Group in 2019. He is currently eligible for certification in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology from the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University and earned his medical degree at New York University. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California San Diego, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Smith’s professional interests include prostate artery embolization for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, geniculate artery embolization for the treatment of chronic knee pain, interventional oncology, and the treatment of peripheral artery disease. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
