Dr. Gore joined San Diego Imaging Medical Group in 2022. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine with subspecialty certifications in neuroradiology and nuclear radiology.

Dr. Gore’s educational journey commenced at the University of California, San Diego, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He graduated summa cum laude with Provost honors, invited to join the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa society, and was honored with the esteemed Eleanor Roosevelt College Academic Scholarship. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University, where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Circle of Legacy of Excellence Scholarship, inducted into the Iota Epsilon Alpha International Honors Medical Society and graduated magna cum laude. Following his internship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, Dr. Gore completed his residency in the combined diagnostic radiology and molecular imaging track at Emory University. Here, he played a key role in the development and implementation of the Brain Tumor Reporting and Data System (BT-RADS). His research on post-treatment imaging in head and neck cancer garnered him recognition as a nominee for the Lucien Levy Best Research Article Award. Following residency, Dr. Gore completed his neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco where he also served as a Clinical Instructor and contributed to the ASNR fellowship director’s curriculum task force.

Dr. Gore’s imaging interests and expertise include all advanced types of neuroimaging, molecular imaging, and emergency radiology.
